The Spinfire Pro 2 ball machine is increasingly becoming one of the most popular ball machine brands in the world. The Spinfire Pro 2 offers all of the features that are most demanded by serious tennis enthusiasts, including both horizontal and vertical oscillation, a 2-line drill, extreme spin, LCD display, membrane touch panel and much more.
Spinfire machines have a stylish design and allows for a 200 ball capacity, while remaining portable and compact for easy storage. The Pro 2 builds on the features of the Pro 1 by offering vertical oscillation, a 2-line drill and a remote control.
Internal Oscillation
The Spinfire Pro series oscillates internally and also moves quickly by making shots much less predictable. This design moves away from the more common ball machine model of oscillating the whole body which is slower and more predictable.
Counter Rotating Wheels
Spinfire Pro series uses 'extreme grip' counter rotating wheels to propel the balls. This is the most effective method of ball propulsion, allowing the machine to remain very silent but also effectively produce top spin and slice. The wheels are black to help disguise their location inside the machine, ensuring each shot is less predictable.
Vertical & Horizontal Oscillation
The vertical and horizontal oscillation provides shot with both variations in depth (wide) and width (medium). These features can be turned on individually or together, providing a completely random play, sometimes referred to as triple oscillation.
Portability
Spinfire machines have a hopper which can be reversed to neatly cover the machine, making it very impact. Due to the solid wheels and also the handle, the machine can easily be moved. The handle is stored underneath the machine and extends when required.
Two-Line Drill
The Spinfire Pro 2 offers completely random hitting but also has the ability to have two-line drills (not available on the Spinfire Pro 1 ball machine). Once set, the balls will no longer be random and alternating forehands and backhands will occur instead. 'Narrow', 'medium' and 'wide' options can be set to vary the degree of difficulty. The timing can also be set between each ball. For extra difficulty, the option to turn the 'vertical oscillation' on at the same time to vary the depth of each delivery is possible.
Extreme Spin
Spinfire machines have extreme grip throwing wheels which can create very high levels of top spin and slice. When set at the maximum level, the difficulty of the spin is so high than if you can master it, you will have no trouble dealing with your opponent's in real match situations. The level of spin can be adjusted to an easier level for more realistic practice.
LCD Display and Membrane Touch Panel
The Spinfire machine is controlled by a membrane touch panel with a backlit LCD display, featuring the settings, battery life and diagnostic information.
Calibration
Due to the infrared sensors, the Spinfire Pro series of machines are self-calibrated before every use, allowing you to line up the machine to the centre of the court. When turning off horizontal or vertical oscillation, the machine will calibrate itself back to its original position.
Memory
Once you have spent the time learning your favourite settings and inputting them into the machine, it is nice to know that they are memorised. Each time you turn on the machine, it recalls the last settings you were using for interval, speed and spin.
Remote Control
Included with the Spinfire Pro 2 is a hand-held remote control. These features are to control:
- The feed; on or off
- Horizontal oscillation; wide, medium or off
- Vertical oscillation; on or off
- 2-line drill; wide, medium or narrow
- Elevation; up or down
- Horizontal; left or right
- Pause function is also available to power down the machine into a sleep state to conserve battery while the balls are being collected.
Optional Accessories
Spinfire Cover - a water resistant cover will protect the machine from dust, debris, leaves and so forth. The machine can still be wheeled while using this cover.
Spinfire Carry Case - this water resistant cover will allow handles to be used to transport the machine to and from the destination. Pockets are included to store the remote control, charger and other items. Spinfire machines can be wheeled while using this carry case.

Balls are randomly fired horizontally within the full width of the singles court at a consistent depth, chosen by the user.

Balls are randomly fired at different elevation levels, providing a range of depths for each shot.

Balls are randomly fired horizontally within a medium width of the court (easier than the wider version). The depth selected by the user remains consistent during this drill.

This drill combines vertical and horizontal oscillation at the same time, providing balls randomly at varying depths and widths throughout the singles court.

A combination of the vertical and horizontal (medium) oscillations, firing balls at random depths but only through a medium width of the court.

Alternating forehands and backhands with minimal movement required, allowing the player to work more on footwork and grip changes without causing too much fatigue.

Alternating forehands and backhands through a medium width of the court, challenging both a players endurance and technique.

Alternating forehands and backhands with the maximum lateral movement required within the singles court. This drill tests a player's footwork, speed and endurance.

Alternating forehands and backhands at randomly varying depths, testing the player's footwork, grip changes and ability to 'put away' the short balls.

Alternating forehands and backhands at random depths through a medium width of the court, providing a solid challenge to a player's footwork, technique and aggressive play.

Alternating forehands and backhands set at the full width of the singles court with random variation in depth. This is the ultimate test of endurance, footwork and technique.

Excellent ball machine in all respects - good range of speed, spin, pre-set programmes etc. The remote controls all aspects of the machine, so you can tweak the settings from the hitting end.
You can easily set up drills to practice and train for most shots / situations ranging from baseline, half-court, serve receive, volley, smash etc.
