Wise 2086 Electronic Professional Tension Head

The 2086 Professional Tension Head adapts to all crank and all drop weight machines. In minutes, you can be stringing like the professionals. The Wise 2086 Tension Head delivers accuracy to one tenth of a pound and uses a professional style linear gripper. The machine weighs 5.5 kg and its sturdy aluminium case is anodized gloss black for a chip-free durable finish.

This tension head is designed to convert your existing manual pull machine to a modern constant pull stringing machine. It takes only minutes to simply remove your manual tension head and clamp on this electronic head.

The gripper switch and Diablo are standard on the current machines, series 11. Version 11 2086 can pull tension as low as 15 pounds (6.85 kg) to 86 pounds (39 kg) and is suited for stringing tennis, squash, badminton and racquetball racquets. The Diablo is ideal for all strings but most specifically, multifilament and natural gut strings to reduce crushing the string in the clamp. The Diablo also reduces the stress on strings and it's included within the box.

Pre-stretch is built in with the option to set the amount you want, if applicable. At 50 pounds plus 15%, you will see the digital read-out go to 57.5 pounds, pause, then return to the set point. The Wise 2086 also allow calibration with a calibrator.

The exterior power supply can operate between 90 and 220 volts. UK cord sold with this machine - UL, CE, CB and GS approved. For customers operating outside of the UK, an adaptor will be required.

Just about all crank, basic electronic and drop weight stringing machines are suitable for conversion.

All drop weight stringing machines will require an adaptor plate, sold separately. Drilling may be required on certain drop weight machines.
