Head was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1950 by an aircraft engineer, Howard Head. Today, Head make racquets, strings, balls, grips and other accessories.

Head products have been used by many of the top players such as Andre Agassi, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murrray to name a few. Roughly 30% of the top 100 tennis players on the ATP Tour currently use Head products.
